The Sagamore Hill Walk trail is located on the north side of the canal, just past the entrance station to Scusset Beach State Park. In the summer months there is a guard at the gate but there is no charge if you let them know you will be hiking the Sagamore Hill Walk. The parking lot for the trail is a short distance down the road on your right. The trail starts directly across the street from the parking lot. The hill overlooks Scusset Marsh and Cape Cod Bay with views of the east entrance to the canal.
